It has been a lot of fun preaching our Reality TV sermon series.  Who knew that these crazy shows could help us learn about the Bible and give us some ways inform our lives.  We will continue to work on the audio stream so that you can replay the sermons which have been meaningful.  But we haven't got the bugs worked out yet.

In one more month we will bring some innovations to both worship services.  We are cutting the greeting time and the joys and concerns from worship.  We will gather in the reception area at 9:30 and again at 10:45 to share fellowship including our joys and concerns.

I look forward to seeing you soon. . . this week SURVIVOR!

We started filling buddy packs again this afternoon.  What a neat ministry!  Every schoolchild who is on a free or reduced lunch plan get a backpack full of food on  Friday.  That way we can help make sure that our kids get enough food.  Please pray with me that this nourishment will help the kids of our community who need food.  You can't learn as well when you're hungry.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Sandy

I'm really looking forward to our children's program tomorrow.  From 3-4:30 we will have Helping Hands for our 6th grade and under set.  Tomorrow we are going to study the Prodigal Son.  The amazing actor Scott Long will have the title role and we will watch him wander the land living wild.  Of course, eventually he wises up and goes home to his father.

Isn't that what we all need to do?  Way too often, we forget that forgiveness is always available when we have separated ourselves from God.  Whatever is troubling you today, I hope that you will ask God to help you and forgive you.

Join us tomorrow.  It's pandamonium, but it is FUN!

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Sandy Schaller

God is really at work in our worshipping community.  Last week we took part in reading the Bible in our town square.  Our group read most of Isaiah and about half of Jeremiah.  The spring evening was beautiful and the gazebo was nestled in the lush green of the grass and trees.  As the sun set and we lost the light it became cold and we huddled under blankets.  But we all agreed that reading passages from Isaiah and Jeremiah would take on special meaning in the future because of what we shared together.  The peace we felt that night could be captured from Isaiah 11:6 "The wolf shall live with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the kid, the calf and the lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them."

We believe the prophet Isaiah referenced the coming of Jesus Christ.  Come and let us show you the joy and peace that you can experience through Jesus Christ.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Sandy Schaller

Our church is doing such new and exciting things.  It is a place for people who need purpose in their lives, who need to make a difference and who need to change the world.  We dream big in our little corner of the world.  If you have never known the passion of a life filled with such dreams, come and join us.  We are on fire for God.  Let us show you what life can be like when you dream big.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Sandy Schaller
