United Methodist Women (UMW)

Centralia United Methodist Women is a group of ladies who meet the first Tuesday of each month at either a member's home or at the church.  The purpose of our group is to support the missions of United Methodist Women.  We participate in:

"Festival of Sharing"

We take gifts to shut-ins for May Day (May 1st)

We donate to the Agape House in Vandalia MO as well as "Nothing but Nets"

As a fund-raiser, we have published a cookbook of favorite recipes of our church members

Centralia UMW supports these missions and enjoys fellowship together.  Check the church calendar or church office for the location and times of our monthly meetings.  Come join us!

Friday Morning Quilters - 9:00 a.m. Friday mornings at the church
Our Friday Morning Quilters have begun work again on quilts to be given away to those in need.  In the past they have sent quilts to Katrina victims and other folks in need.  They invite all who would enjoy working on quilts to join them on Friday mornings at the church at 9:00 a.m.  Jo Johnson and Dot Timmerberg are heading up this group and would love to have others join them. They would also appreciate donations for supplies if you would rather help in this way instead of the actual needle work.  If you would like more information, call the church office 682-3434.

Knitting Group - The Knitting Group meets once a month on the third Monday at 6:30pm.  A different member hosts this group each month, so check out the calendar page of our website to find the location or call the church office at 682-3434 for more information.
